Vince Dooley: Beyond Football is an in-depth look at the man who led UGA to 201 wins, six Southeastern Conference championships, and one national championship. But Vince Dooley is more than football: much more. The documentary will introduce viewers to the Coach they never knew, a coach who grew up as a high school athlete, dance contest winner, and an altar boy to the Mobile archbishop. Viewers will come to know more about those who shaped Dooley's character. Nellie, his mother; Ray Dicharry, his high school coach; and Archbishop Toolen of Mobile, his friend and mentor.
Through interviews with family, friends, peers, and exclusive interviews with Vince Dooley himself, viewers will discover a side of Coach Dooley they never knew.
Also featured: Vintage Dawgs highlights featuring the legendary voice of The Dawgs, Larry Munson.
