Another Google Directory Submission Update
October 26th, 2008 - by Brian UsserySince my previous post about Google removing, “Directory Submissions” from Webmaster Guidelines, I’ve noticed the UK version of Google’s Link Schemes page now includes the following sentence:
“In addition, submit your site to relevant directories such as the Open Directory Project and Yahoo!, as well as to other industry-specific expert sites.”
This sentence seems be available in the UK version of the page but, not yet in other versions.
Is this a simple mistake or a sign of what is to come?
