If you plan on watching the Bulldogs at UGA Sanford Stadium in Athens, GA be sure to leave the following items at home because they are prohibited. Sanford Stadium prohibits alcohol, backpacks, bottles, cans, coolers, food, drinks, horns, ice bags, ice chests, infant seats, large bags, poles, strollers, umbrellas, video cameras, noise makers, hard surfaced items and/or other items deemed hazardous by UGA Sanford Stadium game day management. Any Sanford Stadium ticketholder apprehended with these items will be ejected without refund. Exit and re-entry is not permitted during Georgia Bulldog games in Athens, GA at Sanford Stadium. Per SEC rules, no re-entry is permitted at any gate. If you leave Sanford Stadium, you must have a new ticket to be admitted.
The UGA Athletic Association text messaging system allows fans direct communicate with Sanford Stadium’s command post in the event of a game day emergency. For assistance at Sanford Stadium, DAWG fans can contact stadium management by simply texting “DAWGS" on their phone or mobile device.
Sanford Stadium Parking
Sanford Stadium Reserved priority parking areas will be controlled by specific color. YOU MUST HAVE A UGA ATHLETIC ASSOCIATION PARKING PERMIT TO PARK IN THE COLOR CODED LOTS.
UGA Athletic Association permit parking is available in the following parking lots: Tate Center, Tate Center Deck, Railroad, East Hull Street, Hardman Hall, Field Street areas, Physical Plant, Legion Field, Lipscomb Hall, Psychology-Journalism, Conner Hall, Hull Street, Hull Street Deck, Clark Howell Hall, North Handicap, East Campus Road, Boggs Hall, Boyd Grad Studies, E. Green St., Williams Street and Chemistry parking lots. Physics parking lot is for Sky Suites holders only. These lots are monitored beginning at 6:00 pm Friday evening.
Sanford Stadium RV Parking
RV parking is available on a reserved basis in the UGA Intramural Field parking lot. There is no general admission parking for these vehicles. There are other parking lots in the community coordinated by Prestige Parking (706) 208-0380. No reserved parking for these vehicles. Lot accessibility begins at 6:00 pm, Friday, before the game.
Gates at Sanford Stadium open approximately two hours prior to football kickoff on UGA game day.
Sanford Stadium Smoking Policy
In accordance with the University of Georgia policy, the Athletic Association has declared all areas of Sanford Stadium smoke/tobacco free. Anyone violating this policy will be subject to removal from the stadium.
Sanford Stadium Alcohol Policy
No alcoholic beverages may be brought into Sanford Stadium. Any ticket holder apprehended in the stadium with an intoxicant will be subject to ejection without refund.
Sanford Stadium Animal Policy
Uga and service animals are welcome in Sanford Stadium. All other animals will not be allowed to enter.
